The dawn is breaking over another hot day. People in the village awake to another difficult day - feeling thirsty, hungry and worried about what the future will bring. There is an important meeting of the village elders and it is decided that two of the younger members of the village community will go in search of help for the village. The two youngsters embark on a difficult journey encountering groups of people in the tourist, timber and oil industry. The play takes you with them on this journey outlined in vigorous dances, songs and drumming sequences. Only when  they finally meet the mystical figure of the Moonshine Man do they find some answers to how they can get help. But the answers are not the ones they expected and the solution to their problems also does not come about in the way they expected.

The running time of the show is around 1 hour 20 minutes. However, we have noted that many of the schools performing the show extend some of the dance and song sequences. One school we watched used the finale dance/song/drunmming sequence to get get all of the audience up and dancing ....turned into quite a party!
